Each egg has five stages of growth and requires a blood meal before shedding its skin and developing to the next stage of its life cycle. As we cannot spray a pesticide on to the mattress, it is recommended that all sheets and linen are washed on a hot wash as bed bugs cannot survive in temperatures above 46 degrees Celsius, we also recommend that the bed mattress be replaced or professionally steamed cleaned.
